There is a cancellation fee of $12 if canceled before 48 hours of arrival and a $62 cancellation fee if within 48 hours of arrival.

Rio Viento RV Park Rules and Regulations

Help us ensure that your stay is safe and comfortable by complying with the following rules. Upon signing this form, you & your guests acknowledge receipt of and agree to abide by these rules. Permission/length of stay and adjustments to the rules are at the sole discretion of the Management. Thank you for your cooperation and enjoy your stay at our “Recreational” Campground.

**1.SECURITY:** Gate Summer Hours: closed from 9 pm until 8am. Winter Hours: closed from 8pm until 8am. Only on Fridays the gate will be open at 7:30am for the garbage truck. Rio Viento is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged items. Keep your valuables locked up (& report any problems to the office immediately). Rio Viento adheres to & maintains all state, county and local laws on the property. It is your responsibility to be sure the gate is closed if your or your guests leave after the gate is closed.

*2.QUIET HOURS:** Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 8 AM. Please be courteous of other guests around you. Loud or objectionable noise is not allowed at any time. Disorderly conduct will not be tolerated. NOTE: The legal age for alcohol consumption is 21 years.

3.EXTRA PERSONS: Anyone not listed on your application or added to your contract with management approval will be subject to additional $10.00 per person per night fee. Visitors must sleep in your RV. All extra vehicles must park in the guest parking area (fee applies & requires a parking pass) or in your site. No more than 3 persons per site (monthly stay), no more than 5 per site (short term stay) & must be approved.

4.VISITORS: Please pre-register your guests. ALL visitors must stop at office prior to entering the park to register on the “Visitor Log” and receive parking pass. Day visit $5.00 per person (more than 3 hours), overnight guests $10.00 per person per night. Fees will be added to your account.

5.CHILDREN: Parents or guardians are liable and responsible for the conduct of their children. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times. There is a 10 PM curfew for children under 18 years of age. Tree climbing is not permitted.

6.PETS: 2 pets allowed per site. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times (maximum length 6 feet). All animals are to be kept inside at night and are never to be left unattended. No pets in restrooms. All pets must have current license and vaccinations. You are solely responsible for picking up after your pets (including in the dog park). Pit Bull (similar or mixes), Rottweiler (breeds or mixes) or any aggressive animals are not allowed. Rio Viento has sole discretion when any determination is made. By California law, you are liable for any injuries caused by your pet.

7.CHECKOUT TIME IS 11 AM: Late checkout may be available for a fee of $10.00/hour and must be arranged through the office, and at 3PM, you must pay for another night.** No refunds for early departure.**

8.NO TENT CAMPING: We have a shallow irrigation system, and this is an RV only park.

9.SWIMMING: Swimming in the river is prohibited, river currents are very strong. All children on the river side of the levee must be accompanied by an adult. Life vests are required.

10.RAMPS: Launch ramps are for windsurfing /paddle craft only, and for use at your own risk. For the safety of all our guests, launching or landing of kite boards is prohibited. Approved kite board launches are available nearby at Little Baja or the Sacramento Co. Park.

11.VEHICLES:++++ Observe 5 MPH speed limit. No parking on streets or grass (RV/vehicle can not extend over lawn area). RV age/condition (2012 or newer) may determine permission/length of stay. All vehicles must have current registration and insurance. All vehicle license numbers must be recorded at the office. One habitable and two non-habitable vehicles are allowed per site and must be parked completely inside the paved perimeter. Washing or working on vehicles is prohibited. Some minor repairs may be allowed, & all must be approved by office. Any vehicle that leaks any fluid, must be removed from the park (See #14). Dropping campers or camper shells is prohibited. Anyone operating a motor vehicle must have a valid driver's license. Gas powered or motorized skateboards/toys, are not permitted. Any vehicle that does not move for a week will be considered a “junker” & you will be asked to remove it from the premises.

12.CAMPFIRES: Only gas pits and BBQ’s are allowed in RV sites and must be kept on pavers (never left unattended). You are responsible for any injury or property damage. Rio Viento assumes no liability for any accidents, injuries or damages. No fireworks allowed at anytime.

13.Permanent Tent: Site #69 – common area, available for your use.

14.SITE INSPECTIONS: Management conducts inspections of all sites. Please secure all items around your site. Outside water heaters, large propane tanks, refrigerators, permanent furniture, cardboard boxes, indoor carpet, & "For Sale" signs are not allowed. Fire laws prohibit storage of any materials under & around RVs. No tarps, clotheslines, towels or other articles hanging on fences or trees are allowed. Unsafe, cluttered or unsightly RV sites will not be tolerated. Trash cans/bags are not allowed outside your RV (please dispose of your cigarette butts properly). All sites are “Back-in” only. Porches or built on ramps are not permitted. Our irrigation is shallow & we ask that you do not drive stakes, signs or anything else into the lawn. Please help us maintain a beautiful environment (weeds on your pavers & spider webs on your RV are your responsibility, please keep them under control. Your pedestal light should remain on. Make sure the edge of your site is clear, we need to be able to mow up to the pavers. Mowing day is typically on Thursday, (there is an occasional exception), & edging takes place between Mon. and Thurs. NOTE: If anything requires extensive cleaning/repair upon your departure (such as oil from a vehicle or BBQ, a broken pedestal, etc.), there will be a cleaning/repair fee of up to $300 charged to your credit card. It is your responsibility to be sure that is avoided.

15.TRASH: Dumpsters and recycle bins are located across from the restrooms. Please break down boxes, bag and tie up your trash and recycles. **Normal camping trash only. (ie: NO large items, car parts, furniture, electronics, etc.). ** If dumpsters are full, do NOT put trash on top of or next to dumpsters. The lids of the dumpsters must be able to close all the way. Pick up days are every Friday morning for trash and every other Monday for recycle. Please do not leave your recycle items next to the bins.

16.EVICTION FROM THE PARK: Failure to pay in advance for occupancy or failure to comply with the “Rules and Regulations,” currently in effect, is grounds for eviction without refund and refusal of future admittance. Any variation from the above “Rules and Regulations” will result in removal of your RV without judicial hearing after the service of a 72 hour notice pursuant to California Civil Code section 799.22.

17.Fishing: **Fishing is allowed for Rio Viento guests on the levee directly across from the RV Park at your on risk.
