Rio Viento RV Park Rules and Regulations
Help us to ensure that your stay is safe and comfortable by complying with the following rules. Upon signing the registration card, you and your guests acknowledge receipt of and agree to abide by these rules. Permission/length of stay and adjustments to the rules are at the sole discretion of the Management. Thank you for your cooperation and enjoy your stay.
Gates: Summer Hours, closed from 9 pm to 8 am. Winter Hours, closed from 8 pm until 8 am. Rio Viento is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items. Keep your valuables locked up. Report any problems with your site to the Office immediately. Rio Viento adheres to and maintains all state, county, and local laws on the property. All vehicles must register at the office upon arrival.
Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 8 AM. Please be courteous to other guests around you. Loud or objectionable noise is not allowed at any time. The legal age for alcohol consumption is 21 years. Disorderly conduct will not be tolerated.
Site rental includes 2 adults and up to 3 children (under the age of 18). More than 2 adults are subject to an additional $10.00 fee per person per night and must sleep in your RV. Extra vehicles must park in the Visitor Parking area (Requires a parking pass) or on your site. No more than 5 persons per site. (Monthly sites 3 max per site)
All visitors must register at the office prior to entering the park (fees apply). Also, when your visitors leave and the gate is closed for the night, it is your responsibility to make sure the gate is closed and secure.
Families are welcome. Parents or guardians are liable and responsible for the conduct of their children. Children must always be supervised by an adult. There is a 10 PM curfew for children under 18 years of age. Tree climbing is not permitted. No riding bicycles or playing around the restrooms or the driveway.
2 pets allowed per site. Pets must always be kept on a leash. Maximum leash length is 6 feet. All animals are to be kept inside at night and are never to be left unattended. No pets in restrooms. All pets must be licensed and vaccinations current. You are solely responsible for picking up after your pets (includes in the dog park). Pit Bull (or similar), Rottweiler (breeds or mixes), or any aggressive animals are not allowed. Rio Viento has sole discretion when any determination is made. By California law, you are liable for any injuries caused by your pet.
PERMANENT TENT SITES:
Tent in site 69 is for all guests. Please keep it clean to preserve access for everyone. No smoking, cooking, or pets allowed in tents.
CHECKOUT TIME IS 1 PM:
Late checkout of 4 PM may be available for a fee of $10.00 and must be arranged through the Office. Any RV not checked out by 1 PM without prior arrangements is subject to charges for an additional night. No refunds for early departure.
NO TENT CAMPING:
We have a shallow irrigation system. This is an RV park only.
Swimming in the River is prohibited. All children on the river side of the levee must be accompanied by an adult. Life vests are required. River currents are very strong.
VEHICLES: Observe 5 MPH speed limit.
No parking on streets or grass (RV/vehicle can not extend over lawn area). RV age/condition (2006 or newer) may determine permission/length of stay. RV’s in a site by the month can not be more than 10 yrs. old. All vehicles must have current registration and insurance. All vehicle license numbers must be recorded at the Office. One habitable and two non-habitable vehicles are allowed per site and must be parked completely inside the concrete perimeter. Washing or working on vehicles is prohibited. Some minor repairs may be allowed, any and all repairs must be cleared with the office. Dropping campers or camper shells is prohibited. Additional vehicles must be registered at the Office and are subject to an additional charge. Anyone operating a motor vehicle must have a valid driver's license. Gas powered or motorized skateboards/toys, are not permitted.
Controlled campfires are allowed in RV sites, gas pits only (NO Wood Firepits). Gas pits/BBQs must be kept on pavers. Campfires must never be left unattended. You are responsible for any injury or property damage. Rio Viento assumes no liability for any accidents, injuries or damages. No fireworks allowed at any time.
Launch ramps are for windsurfing or paddle craft only. For the safety of all our guests, launching or landing of kite boards is prohibited. Approved kite board launches are available nearby at Little Baja or the Sacramento County Park.
Management conducts inspections of all sites. Awnings extended from RVs are permitted provided they are properly secured. This is a windy area. Please secure all items around your site. Outside water heaters, large propane tanks, refrigerators, permanent furniture, messy children's toys, cardboard boxes, indoor carpet or "For Sale" signs are not allowed. Fire laws prohibit storage of any materials under and around RVs. No tarps or clotheslines allowed. No towels or other articles hanging on fences or RVs. Unsafe, cluttered or unsightly RV sites will not be tolerated. Trash cans/bags are not allowed outside your RV. Please dispose of your cigarette butts properly. Please help us maintain a beautiful environment. Parking in an unoccupied site is not permitted. All sites are “Back-in” only. Porches or built on ramps are not permitted. You can not drive any stakes, signs or anything else into the lawn. Edging is done between Monday and Thursday.
Dumpsters and recycle bins are located across from the restrooms. Please break down boxes and bag up your trash (no loose trash). Normal camping trash only (i.e., NO large items, car parts, furniture, etc.). If dumpsters are full, do NOT put trash on top of or next to dumpsters. Pick-up days are every Friday morning for trash and every other Monday for recycling.
EVICTION FROM THE PARK:
Failure to pay in advance for occupancy or failure to comply with the Rules and Regulations currently in effect is grounds for eviction without refund and refusal of future admittance. Any variation from the above Rules and Regulations will result in removal of your RV without judicial hearing after the service of a 72 hour notice pursuant to California Civil Code section 799.22.
